Jason Priestley's Daughter Channels '90210' at School Dance: 'Full Circle'

Time flies! Jason Priestley’s daughter, Ava, paid homage to her dad’s days on Beverly Hills, 90210 at a school dance.

“It’s now come full circle,” the 49-year-old actor’s wife, Naomi Priestley, wrote on Instagram on Friday, May 3. “This is my beautiful daughter @ava.priestley. Her father is @jason_priestley from the original 90210 TV series in the 90’s. Tonight, at my daughters school, they held a 90’s theme dance for the middle schoolers. Ava just started watching old DVD’s of 90210 and absolutely [loves] it.”

She added: “She is totally obsessed and wanted to go as Kelly Taylor tonight. I can’t……worlds are colliding.”

In the trio of pics she posted, the preteen, 11, was all smiles rocking a red lip and a 90210 tee.

The Fox show, which ran from 1990 to 2000, lost a beloved cast member in March when Luke Perry suffered a stroke and died.

“It’s taken me a couple of days to figure out how to write this… My dear friend of 29 years, Luke Perry, was one of those truly special people who really cared,” the Private Eyes actor captioned a throwback pic on Instagram. “Luke was not only a star, he was an incredibly bright light that was extinguished far too soon… and that is why I, and so many others, are in so much pain today… If you had the good fortune to know Luke, or to have ever crossed his path, I know you are sad today as well.”

A week later, he shared a second tribute, writing, “Luke was truly one of a kind… he adored his family, was passionate about his work, and loved his wide collection of friends… every life he touched, he made better… he was caring, gentle, charming, warm, funny, and smart… he loved to tell stories, and he loved to laugh… he was a true gentleman… and he will be missed by all of us who were blessed to know and love him… Rest In Peace my brother.”
